Open to all community members, high school age* and older! You will have the incredible opportunity to sing and be part of one of the best choirs in the area.

Rehearsals are held on Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

The Red Cedar Choir is a partnership with the UWEC — Barron County Music Department and surrounding communities. You will have the incredible opportunity to sing and be part of one of the best choirs in the area. It is open to all community members, high school age and older. Each year, the Red Cedar Choir offers public Holiday and Spring concerts. An audition may be required for new members. The choir is under the direction of Beth Joosten, former Assistant Director of Choral Activities at UW‐Eau Claire. Joosten has been the director of the Red Cedar Choir since 2012.

*Those under 18 must enroll and attend WITH a parent/guardian.

    Beth Joosten is Assistant Director of Choral Activities at UW-Eau Claire and director of choral ensembles at UW-Eau Claire – Barron County. She has directed the Red Cedar Choir since 2012.

Cancellation Policy

We understand life happens. Should you need to cancel your registration, you may substitute someone to take your place, at any time, at no cost to you. If we cancel a program, we’ll give you your money back.

If your program is 14 or more days away:
You may transfer once to any currently available program – no charge!
If you have to cancel, you will receive a refund, minus a 20% administrative fee.

If your program is less than 14 days away:
You may transfer once to any currently available program, plus a 20% transfer fee.
If you cancel, you will not receive a refund.

If you are registered and do not attend the program, you are responsible for the full fee.

Substitution, refund or transfer requests must be submitted via email or phone call to UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education.
